Body Shop Tea Tree BB Cream || Review

My first product from the body shop AND the first BB cream that has actually matched my skin tone.

The reason that I have not really gotten on board with the BB creams is because they have never matched my skin tone and I had pretty much given up.

I never really understood BB creams anyway. I didn't know what it was trying to be? Was it meant to be a really light coverage foundation or was it just meant to be easier and faster to apply? I was never really sure but some people really love them and I wanted to join the group.

I wasn't on a mission to find one when I went into the body shop. I wasn't really sure what I was looking for. Honestly, I just accidentally wandered in there because I was lost in Dubai shopping mall.

This BB cream promises a lot of things, and it meant to be suitable for blemished skin and being a teenager, this is something that I can completely understand. It promises instantly spotless looking skin but, I don't think anything can really give you that. Unless you want to put on a full face of makeup but that kind of defeats the purpose.

It doesn't give a whole pile of coverage but it does really even out your skintone and makes you feel like you have made a effort AND makes you feel a bit better about your skin. I still feel like you need a bit of concealer if you do have a blemish.

It has a very light consistency but is very build-able. Some people may be a wondering about the smell of tea tree from this as everyone knows the really strong smell of tea tree oil. It does seem really strong when you first put it on your fingers put it doesn't last that long at all. It becomes quite pleasant after a while actually.

All in all I really like this BB cream, I still love wearing foundation but I think that it is nice to wear this to school for a bit of product on my skin. It also makes wearing foundation feel a bit more special.

I can't seem to be able to find a link to this product so you can check it out for yourself, maybe it is only available in certain stores. I think (from memory) it was about 11 euro with is really good for such a good BB cream.

I feel many more Body Shop purchases to come.
